Welcome friend.
I’m a single mom and jack of all trades, but master of none. Sometimes my life is stranger than fiction and funnier than Adam Sandler. Stick with me and I’ll show you how to laugh at the cards you are dealt. Life is like a big jack in the box, you just turn and turn and then, “BAM!” a joker jumps out at you. Or maybe it’s water that sprays out of the bathroom wall, because you placed vertical slats on the wall and they weren’t spaced out evenly, so you removed it and created a flood on the 2nd floor, that dripped to the 1st floor. Or when you’re camping during a thunderstorm and your tent inverts on you while your son sleeps soundly, at least you’re dry. Then while you’re home on disability, it dawns on you, “why do I have so much JUNK?” My home no longer felt like a home, it was like short term storage facility for everyone’s current situation. My situation was the worst, but it was in the basement, out of sight and out of mind. Yet, it was always on my mind. One day I had had enough. I purged it all, except for a few mementos that could fit into a small fireproof box. I want to keep my house simple to keep me sane. I’ll share with you how I did that and keep doing it, amidst all the chaos in my life.
